Kanav Jain

Kanav Jain was all set to become a doctor in 2013. He had been accepted to Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and was days away from starting his first year when he decided to pursue a different path.

The Atlanta native had spent the previous year working at Epic, the electronic health records giant, and was shocked by how bad the software was that doctors were being forced to use. He decided instead to join Doximity, where he led the launch of their Telehealth platform Dialer, which has now been used by more than 400,000 physicians, and is Doximity's most-used feature. Dialer has been used to conduct over 200 million telehealth visits and was recently rated the #1 Best in KLAS telehealth app.

After 4 years at Doximity, Jain got his MBA at NYU Stern, specializing in finance and tech. He spent most of his time investing and advising tech founders as part of Red Sea Ventures and Rough Draft Ventures. He then moved back to Atlanta to lead the development of an integrated digital oncology care marketplace called CancerCompass. The pandemic led the company to shift its focus to COVID response efforts at CTCA, which was acquired in 2021 by City of Hope, an NCI-designated cancer center.

At Transcarent, Jain led a team of product managers accountable for the success of all of the company's virtual care products, as well as digitally-enabled experiences that enable access to its direct care ecosystem, covering acute events and chronic conditions. He left Transcarent to focus his full attention on building Andwise.
